Now is the time to make your reservations for the November General Membership meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:30 am at Oasis Country Club, 42330 Casbah Way, Palm Desert. The November General Membership Meeting is a special Membership Celebration and Membership Drive. The celebration includes:
- Capt Jim Carman, USN, (Ret.) MOAA Vice President of Chapter/Member Support will be the guest speaker.
- Each current member is asked to bring a potential new member. For every potential member you bring, you can put your name into a $300 Stater Brothers Grocery Gift Card opportunity drawing. The drawing will occur at the end of the meeting on November 20, 2025. The more potential members you bring, the more chances of winning the $300 grocery gift card.
- The potential new member will receive a free lunch that day.
- If the potential new member signs up for CVC-MOAA membership on November 20, 2025, they receive one year of free membership. They also will receive a 10% discount rate off of Premium and Lifetime membership of MOAA.
- Potential new members will receive a thank you gift bag from CVC-MOAA and MOAA for coming and hearing about our Chapter.

- We build camaraderie and a connection among fellow officers.
- CVC-MOAA advocates for veteran affairs locally and nationally.
- Our Chapter organizes educational tours to active duty bases and military venues.
- We have monthly general membership meetings with a speaker series to include local, national and international topics.

- Our primary philanthropic project is funding JROTC scholarship awards for local Coachella Valley high school students.
