MOAA Chapters throughout California recognize the importance of partnering with JROTC and ROTC units located within their respective geographical areas. Chapters engage with these units in a variety of ways to help foster their development into future civic leaders and future Military Officers.
JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps)
What It Is: A high school program designed to teach students leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
Purpose: To develop students into responsible citizens and leaders, fostering a sense of service to community and country.

ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps)
What It Is: A college-level program that trains students to become officers in the U.S. military.Purpose: To develop military officers while allowing participants to earn a college degree.Focus Areas:
